What is NEFT

NEFT is National Electronic Funds Transfer. Unlike RTGS, NEFT transactions are not real time and are settled in batches. Any transaction initiated after a designated settlement time (batch) would have to wait till the next designated settlement time (batch). The settlement takes place with all transactions received till the particular cut-off time. In case the transactions are received after the cut-off time, this will be processed on the next working day.
