Blocking of the Debit Card to be done within 0 to 3 days of fraud. In situations where the Debit Card is blocked within 4–7 working days of the loss occurring, a fixed value of INR 10,000 will be deducted as customer liability.
Blocking beyond 7 working days results in full consumer liability.
Please Note: If the client reports the event after 7 days of card blocking TAT OR after 30 days of the transaction date:
a. Report: You must notify the relevant authorities of the unauthorized transaction within three working days in order to avoid accountability for any violations by third parties.
b. Schedules for Resolution: For us to offer a suitable response, the regulatory required timeframe is up to 90 days.
