What is a Fraudulent Transaction?
Any transaction in the account that was not authorised directly by the card / account holder is considered to be a fraudulent transaction.

A fraudulent transaction has taken place on my Forex Card? What do I do?
Lock your Card >> Report the transaction >> Submit Documents

How do I lock my forex card?
a. Phone: Call us on 040 67174100 (domestic) and for our toll free numbers click here
b. Email: Send us an email from your registered email id 
Apart from the above options, Axis Bank Account holders can block their Forex Card through Mobile Banking using the below option:
c. Axis Mobile: Click on Forex Cards >> Select Multi Currency Card / Single Currency Card >> Select Card >> Select Block >> Enter m-Pin >> Click on confirm 

What are the documents required to report a fraudulent transaction on my forex card?
1. Letter with all incident details
2. Duly filled and signed Claim Form. Click here to download Claim Form
3. Passport copy - All pages with arrival / departure stamps (Including all blank pages) 
4. Cut Card - Scan the cut card and send the copy along with the above documents through email. 
5. FIR Copy (Mandatory only for lost card cases) 
6. Complete travel details of the cardholder: 
   a. Name of the country where the cardholder was travelling at the time of fraud 
   b. Date of departure from India 
   c. Date of arrival at the country where the cardholder was travelling 
   d. Date of schedule departure from the country where the cardholder was travelling 
   e. Scheduled arrival date in India 

Where do I submit the documents?
Send us a scanned copy of the documents by clicking on the email option below or by submitting this at your nearest Axis Bank Branch
Please note that the Bank can action your request only if the documents are received within 6 working days from the date of transaction reporting.

What are the timelines involved?
a. Transaction Reporting – Within 3 days from the date of receipt of statement / knowing about fraud transaction
b. Document Submission – Within 6 days from the date of transaction reporting
c. Resolution timeline: Regulatory prescribed timeframe is up to 90 days for us to provide an appropriate resolution
